 Meeting at Friendship Baptist Church

The meeting was called to order by moderator Dennis Adams. Opening prayer by Tobey Clements. Thanks were expressed to Friendship Baptist Church for the delicious meal.

The Minutes of the January Executive Board meeting were accepted as printed after a correction. The disaster relief sentence that stated Tommy and Connie Sanders brought the trailer back from Refugio, should have read: “Tommy Sanders and Tommy Carpenter brought it back.” Motion by Margie Archer, seconded by Tommy Sanders passed.

The Finance Report was approved as printed after a motion by Margie Archer and seconded by Garland Stueart.

The Disaster Relief Report was given by Garland Stueart. The shower trailer is in Arlington, TX for 10 days during spring break. It will then go to Comanche, TX for 1 week and then Gallup, NM for 2 weeks before returning to Arlington in July.

The River Ministry Report was given by Evie Dyck. In November 575 shoe box gifts were delivered. In December balls, jump ropes, blankets, and coats were delivered along with turkeys for pastors at Christmas and 150 fruit and candy bags to children’s homes.

The Circle Six Camp Report was given by Brian Colbath. The camp has witnessed between 27 and 32 salvations this year. The February Men’s Rally was well attended with 150 in attendance. There are remodeled conference rooms and the auditorium will see the old blue carpet replaced with tile. April 6,7 will host the 1st Men’s Conference. The 1st Women’s Conference had 120 in attendance. April 30th is the Adult Rally. Brian Colbath will be leaving April 25th to go to another camp after 8 ½ years serving Circle Six and experiencing much growth, improvement to the camp, and many lives changed.

The Media Report was given by Travis Debnam. The web site has received 99 hits looking at 377 pages. Crestview continues to have the most hits with 44 contacts. 95% of the hits are coming from the USA.

Motion to receive all reports as given was made by Corny Dyke, seconded by Tobey Clements. Carried.

New business: Garland Stueart made a motion that Jim Medley be acting DOM, relating to the camp, only for the duration of the search for a new Camp Director. Motion by Tobey Clements, second by Marvin Welborn, passed.
